The fire was reported at about 11:30 p.m. in the 200 block of West Dawson Avenue, according to the Glendora Police Department.

Firefighters arrived to find the house engulfed in flames. They were able to extinguish the fire, but not before it caused extensive damage to the home.

While searching the home, firefighters found the body of a person inside. The person's identity has not yet been released.
